Newest High-End Accessories Trends to Keep You Ahead of The Curve

Products • 12/11/19

Winter is coming, and so are the new trends. So far, 2019 has thrown many fashion curveballs, and it has no intention to stop. One thing we can be certain of is that this year has sure been high-end accessories focused, and our prediction is this trend is set to continue.

With the festive season fast approaching, accessories matter more than ever. A well-chosen designer handbag or a pair of luxury statement earrings can overhaul last year’s dress, turning it into a whole new look. Being well aware of that, the world of fashion has rushed to set new trends of accessorising for the party season, and, being ahead of the curve, Kture has picked up on it already.

Pearl Headbands

Designer hair accessories have been everywhere since late August, and we sure love our padded Prada headbands. The pearls have also flashed around a lot, especially as part of luxurious hair sliders. Combine two trends to get a new one. Headbands still reign supreme on the scene of high-end accessories, adjusting to the demands of the public and blending two of the chicest trends together. Pearl headbands look great with locks of every colour, and can be teamed up with other headbands, too - but don’t hide the padded ones just yet! The two don’t compete, they work in unison.

Feathers

We mentioned when summarising upcoming AW19 trends that feathers will take over - however, we originally thought it was limited to clothing. Let’s be honest, feathers do look luxe on LBDs and cardigans. So, the world of fashion figured out it wouldn’t look any worse of high-end accessories either. Particularly for the party season, when the best parties will always include a feather scarf. Now, it should also include feathered shoes worn with a designer suit, or a feathered bag with a luxury satin dress. Combine classy with fancy, and you will rock.

Hair Twists

The 90s called and said it’s dropping in with a visit. Jokes aside, many 90s and early 00s trends have been making a comeback this year, and the high-end accessories caught of this wind too. Admittedly, the hair jewels that were so tricky to put (and remove) from the hair strands were the last thing we expected to be back in 2019-2020. However, similarly to all the cringe-worthy fads that made a return (looking at you, thongs), it has evolved and grown to be incredibly glamorous unlike its past, odd teenager phase. Now available in many more chic designs and looking particularly luxe, hair twists can be found in collections of great designers such as Lelet NY. The world of fashion has acknowledged their return, and so should you.

Jewel Chains

A return of chain necklaces on A/W 19 runway was anticipated and was quick to spread like wildfire. Many of us have been following high-end accessories trends for several years, and therefore still had our chain necklaces saved from 2012 - but here comes another curveball this season has to offer. The new twist on the gold chains is having them adorned with a single gemstone, because who doesn’t like extra bling? That’s right - you can no longer rely on a chain you dug out from the bottom of the draw and will need to scout the luxury fashion marketplace to find the new statement necklace. Kture is a good place to start. Just saying.

Velvet Platforms

All hail the God of shoes - comfy block-heeled platform shoes are back. More than that - they’re covered in velvet. So, not only are they comfortable, but also as glamorous as nothing else in the world - perfect addition to the collection of high-end accessories this year has to offer. Prada already caught up with the quickly emerging trend - given how timeless velvet is, and how you just cannot go wrong with platform sandals, it is a great investment to cherish on for the years to come. Did we mention we love how wardrobe staples are trending? Because we sure do.

Glitter Bags

Another wave from the 90s, when everything, starting with rubber bands and ending with toe rings, had to shimmer. BY FAR the biggest culprit that brought back the trend is glittery shoulder bags, very similar to the ones we wore few decades ago. Since most party season functions are pushing us towards dressing like a human disco ball, these are absolutely necessary. Plus, when did we ever complain about anything that includes glitter? Go sparkly, or go home.

What are your views on the newest high-end accessories trends? Have you started looking for them? Well, we already have them on Kture. Have a look around.
